Maekyung Economy, the top economic weekly in Korea, has named Ms. Rae Eun Sung among the ‘Top 50 CEOs of the year 2024’. This is the first time that Ms. Sung (ranked 47) has been included in the top CEOs of the Year.
Maekyung Economy analyzed that in the middle of great economic uncertainties, the owners born in the 1970s and 80s were the new engines of the Korean economy.
Rae Eun Sung, Vice Chairman of Youngone Group, was highlighted in the list of CEOs who will lead the generational transition, along with Kim Dong-kwan (Vice Chairman of Hanwha Group), Chung Ki-sun (Senior Vice Chairman of HD Hyundai), and Koo Bon-sang (Chairman of LIG).
Maekyung Economy said that Youngone’s steady performance, despite the fashion industry’s recession, was the reason for this inclusion.
